Burning Spear music can be categorized among the well performed piece of arts across the world. Burning Spear is an artist who is identified as Winston Rodney by his real name, is known to sing reggae music. Rodney with his two band mates broke up but he retained the name Burning spear. The singer was just by himself when he released the album Dry and Heavy. After signing his label to EMI, spear recorded a brand new album Hail H. I. M. At Bob Marley studios. Rodney entered a new era when he began exploring non cultural themes. It was at this stage that he did a track by the name She is Mine.
Winston did the fittest of the fittest which was out shined by the album Resistance. A number of his albums have been nominated at the Grammy award and have earned him great honor and respect including resistance and calling Rastafarian. Mistress music was poorly produced and did not do well in the industry although a better album known as Live in Paris was produced the same year.
