This week's tip is focused on content creation for your Youtube channel. First, let's start out with several popular types of videos that people put together on Youtube. You can get Powerpoint or Keynote presentations, screencasts, stuff from Fiverr like animations, paper clipping and drawings and lastly, the most used which is presenting in front of the camera. As you now understand the forms of videos that you can put together, here's our 4-step formula to help you make better videos for your business.
Step one is the Opener. This is the most vital part of your video. Statistics reveal that most videos are closed while in the first 5 seconds of them starting. So you should do something that's likely to grab the audience's focus right away. And this is what we refer to as a Patter Interrupt in marketing. Instead of wasting your first 5 seconds of your video on like a logo or like an animated title, you want to do something different. A great example of Pattern Interrupt is simply just - "In this video, you're most likely to learn XYZ".
Step two is the Introduction. Now that's where you can put your branding. If you have an excellent animated logo for your title, that would be amazing, you should use that. If you don't, you can be resourceful. You can hold up a small note with your logo. In this element of the introduction, what you wish to do is give out things like your name, your company, the name of your TV show. So say for instance - "Hi, my name is James and welcome to James' Mowing. I'm the founder of James' Mowing Company and this show is centered on how to cut your grass the correct way."
Step three is the Body of your show. This is where you give all the content that your viewers want. Plenty of keyword research in our previous video will let you choose what you wish this part to be about. Step four is the Call To Action. Every video must have a solid call to action at the conclusion of it. There's no point creating videos just for the sake of creating videos. We must have a purpose or a reason why you're creating this video. So at the conclusion of each video, create sure you tell your viewers what it is you would like them to do. Whether it is to subscribe to your Youtube channel, to sign up to your email list or to purchase a service or product that you have.
And lastly, the most important rule about online video, the shorter the videos, the better. We find videos that are about 2-3 minutes long, perfect. And now, let's get onto this week's challenge. This week's challenge is to create a video using our 4-step formula. So that is Opener, Marketing, Body and Call To Action. V:5
