I am used to giving and receiving presents each Christmas. Nevertheless, I wish to keep it simpler yet more special this Christmas. Often we do not realize the true meaning of Christmas. Each time I go to shopping centers in the busy Christmas holiday week, I notice many people running around carrying shopping bags or purchasing a number of Christmas cards.
I'm wondering if people we give gifts to really value the stuff we give to them. I'm prompting this question because I am somewhat guilty of simply stacking gifts somewhere and not giving them the second gaze after getting them. Of course, I show them how grateful I am, but I simply wish to make it totally different this time.
My thought is to give out individualized Christmas cards which are not really pricey if you simply allow your imaginative mind carry out the work. I do not mind make use of unused greeting cards last year. If ever you've got a few of them, I advise you to work with them.

Many of my buddies visit their hometowns but not necessarily to spend some time with their family. How about giving it a change this year?
Find more time for your family this particular Christmas. Join in the setting up of your Christmas tree, I find this activity fun. Also, help in food preparation for the Christmas dinner. This thing, too, is fun.
I failed to treat mother and father a year ago. I'll perhaps go with them to a health spa or have dinner with them someplace. I do not believe material presents will be the unique ones. At times, the moments you enjoy with your loved ones are far more special.
There is no problem with ignoring the tradition. If ever you think it is time to transform things, do so. In my case, I would still order a few Christmas cards as there are a number of people who would be very very happy to get one.
